How do I book a wedding with Currans?

The first step is to fill out our contact form found here.

Our team will review your submission, check the calendar, and make sure your vision falls within the scope of our services. After we are sure we can execute the florals for your dream wedding we will reach out to set up the groundwork for a consultation. During this initial conversation we will ask some questions to get to know you and here more about your big day. We will ask for some inspiration that you have collected along the way so we can do a bit of research before your consultation.

At the consultation you will meet with one of our wedding designers and dig in to details of your event. After your consultation we will follow up with a quote based on your visit. Once you're sure Currans is the florist for you, we will ask you to pay a non refundable $250 retainer fee for our services. This secures your spot in our calendar for your wedding.

Most of the components needed to create your florals must be ordered well in advance of your event. You can adjust the details of your wedding up to 30 days before the wedding. We will ask for the balance of your bill to be paid 4 weeks before your wedding.

How much do wedding flowers cost?

This really depends on what your specific needs are. It's the same as asking "How much do cars cost?".

The cost of your wedding flowers depends on many factors such as:

  • Floral varieties; premium blooms vs common blooms
  • Floral density
  • Floral seasonal availability
  • Complexity of design
  • Complexity of installation

Generally we can group wedding into these categories:

  • Intimate Event - $750-2500
  • Average - $3000-5500
  • Larger - $6000 and higher

How far in advance to I need to book my wedding?

This may depend on a few factors. You really need to have an outline of what your vision is before sitting with a designer. You also have to have selected your venue and  ceremony locations, along with a sketch of a guest list to get a reasonably accurate quote.

This is a general guideline which is super flexible:

8-12 Months before your wedding: Inquire about our availability and/or secure date with retainer.

6-8 Months before your wedding: Have consultation and work out details of your event.

4-2 Months before your wedding: Final adjustments

We have also been able to accommodate last minute inquiries. You'll never know if you don't ask.

Can I get a detailed quote with the names, colors, and quantities of flowers you will be using?

Yes, after you submit a non-refundable retainer we will be happy to provide you with a detailed quote. Prior to submitting a retainer, we offer a quote with just very general descriptions based on the consultation.

Do you deliver the wedding flowers?

Yes, in most cases we can deliver your wedding flowers to the bridal party, the ceremony location, and the reception location.

You can also opt to pick up the flowers yourself if you prefer.

My wedding is outside your normal delivery area, can you still do it?

We make these determinations on a case by case basis. Once you share the details of your event we will see how we can make it work for you.

How many types of arches, chuppahs, and other ceremony elements to you offer?

We do not have our own archways, chuppahs, and ceremonial elements. We can install accent pieces on a case by case basis.

I want to make my own flowers, can you get me the material I need?

We are happy to procure bulk flowers for your DIY wedding. Provide us a with a list and date you want the boxes to arrive and our expert buyer will coordinate for you.

Please note that it would be your responsibility to process and store the flowers. Please don't consider this option unless you have or someone close to you has actual experience with floral design. We are often unable to help people last minute during peak event season.

Where do my wedding flowers come from?

We source blooms from all over the world. From right here in our own greenhouses to across the globe.
